Relationships

Yesterday I came across a very interesting mail….it was a usual forward but it asked us an interesting question….Which is the most important thing which is required to build successful relationships? (Between a guy and a gal of course)

It had a few options, which are as follows:

  1. Physical attractiveness
  2. Regular interaction / talks
  3. Trust
  4. Destiny / luck
  5. Money
  6. Sexual intimacy
  7. None of the above (why this option ?? , I got the answer this morning….and will tell at the end of this post)

These days people are thinking too much about relationships and how to make them successful….so am I after reading that mail….I analyzed the options and tried to figure out which one is the best....(or may be a combination of 2 or more)..

Physical attractiveness…….hmmmm…..its important to an extent…. (For some people nothing starts without this) but it is not the only thing that starts a relationship (again, between a guy and a gal of course).

Regular interaction / talks….ya its very important….if a guy or a girl is trying to ignore the other person, the probability of a successful relationship is very less…

Trust ………it builds up with time……no one starts trusting someone from day one….but it plays a major role once a relationship starts.

Destiny / Luck……may be……but I don’t know how much role it plays.

Money…..sometimes people go for a good relationship if the other person is earning enough money to lead a luxurious life….important for some people while it does not matter for others.

Sexual intimacy……..to an extent…but its not everything….

Now comes the final option…….None of the above……these days people leading corporate life are very busy and have too much work….some of them have no time to spend on building a successful relationship….this option is for them…..for more details read today’s (15th march, 2007) Bangalore Times….;-)

So in my opinion Regular interaction / talks and trust have to be there to make a relationship work…..your comments are also welcome…
